This video is Part 1 of a 3-part series where we play songs for you out in the high desert of Utah. Here, we're playing "Strange Winds" by Rev Ezra (Start - 3:20) and "Keep a Little Distance" by Helicopter Hands (3:20 - End) The backstory is that a few weeks ago, the stars aligned for us to take a road trip through the high desert. We met in Flagstaff, AZ, then went to the Grand Canyon, through Navajo Nation and Monument Valley, up around Moab, then finished in Denver. While we were camping around Moab, we decided to record some songs. We hope you enjoy these adventure tunes.

Originally from Western Pennsylvania and now living in Ithaca, New York, Rev Ezra released his first solo album titled "These Days" on May 6th, 2022. The song "Strange Winds" on that album is currently featured on the "Indie Bluegrass" Spotify editorial playlist. Rev's music is born from being on the road and dealing with changing circumstances. "These Days" was born mainly from one specific road trip in Rev's stickshift Ford Ranger, passed down to him from his father. A man of many layers, we welcome Rev Ezra to the show.
